Calgary's Classic Plot Twist: "I Thought We Were Done With This..."
Just when the bike comes out of hiding and you're mentally packing away the winter boots... boom. Snow. Again. This Short captures that exact Calgary moment: hopeful spring vibes shattered by fresh flakes drifting down, shovel back in hand, and that universal "really?" face. Bike? Forgotten. Shovel? Hero of the day. It's the prairie special—winter refusing to leave quietly, even as May creeps closer.
Fun fact: Environment Canada's 1991-2020 normals peg the average last spring snowfall around May 8—so these "one more storm" surprises are basically on schedule. No freak event needed; just Alberta being Alberta.
If you've ever sighed at the sky while clearing your walkway in what should be spring, this one's for you. Hit play, feel the solidarity, and laugh (or cry) with me.
Who's still shovelling today? Drop a in the comments!
