Making Red Currant Jam at Home

From the thumbnail here you can see that someone is jamming up his shirt, that is not the real intention here but, you know how that goes, it's just about a law; that when making jam, someone certainly has to end up wearing it.

We have our own Red Currant bushes in our back yard and this year we did get enough berries so that we could make a batch of jam. When you click to watch the video you will see that we chose to remove the vast majority of the berries, as I do not like a berry crunchy jam, I detest those small things getting stuck between my teeth, so seedless it is. By the way, our jam turned out great, tastes lovely, not too sweet and not seedy either. Once you have homemade jam it is really hard to go back to store made jams.
